Enjoy this exciting canoeing trip in the Sacred valley of the Incas, where we will see beautiful landscapes near the city of Cusco.
Itinerary
Day 1: CUSCO - RIO URUBAMBA - CUSCO.
At 9:00 a.m. We will leave Cusco in the direction of the Urubamba River in the Sacred Valley north of Cusco, where our guide will give you the safety instructions and the use of the equipment for the trip along the Urubamba River. After that, we will sail for about 2 and a half hours in class III and IV rapids, depending on the route we have chosen, we could go to Ollantaytambo Class III (March to November) or Quiquijana Class III and Chuquicahuana Class IV (December to May).
In the afternoon after lunch we will return to Cusco arriving approximately at 5:00 p.m.
NOTE: The rapids are cataloged as follows:
Difficulty I-II: Easy without risk, something exciting.
Difficulty III-IV: Good and exciting, with some risk.
Difficulty V: Very exciting and risky, you need an additional safety boat, it can be a kayak or a boat, it is the maximum level that can be done with tourists.
Difficulty VI: Extreme risk, boating can not be done.
